Utkal Sammilani, a premier outfit working towards protection of Odisha’s interests, observed its 111st foundation day here on Tuesday. Attending the foundation day ceremony, intellectuals including Sammilani president Basanta Kumar Tripathy and general secretary Dr Radhanath Praharaj opined that Odisha people need to work unitedly to bring glory to the State. “Though Odias are more talented than others, they fail to work in a group,” said the experts in the meeting.
The speakers said the new generations should follow the noble qualities of great predecessors like Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das and Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das to get back the lost glory of the State. “We should know how to communicate and present our points of view before the world audience,” they added.
Among others, Utkal Sammilani vice-president Dr Gouranga Prasad Behera, secretary Khetramohan Samantara, Prof Duryodhan Parida, Bhubaneswar branch president Tapas Ranjan Mishra and members of the premier outfit attended the ceremony.
