A local court on Thursday remanded the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India's member Sajid Hussain, who carried a reward of Rs 15,000 in police custody till February 7 after he surrendered.
Police said Ujjain District's Mahidpur-resident Hussain reached the court along with his lawyer and capitulated before Chief Judicial Magistrate Pankaj Maheshwari.The ATS, which was searching for the extremist for a long time, would interrogate him. The ultra is an accomplice of SIMI kingpin Abu Faizal.
