Ajay Singh Sikarwar, the brother-in-law of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, was seriously injured in a road accident on Wednesday night. He has been shifted to Apollo hospital in New Delhi.
The victim was going home on his Activa scooter, when some unidentified heavy vehicle hit him. He sustained head injuries and remained unnoticed on the spot for around one hour. In this duration, he became unconscious due to excessive bleeding.
later, on receiving the information, BJP leaders Rakesh Jadon, Vivek Sharma and others reached the spot and admitted the victim to Sahara hospital.
Seeing the serious condition of Sikarwar the doctors referred him to Delhi by air ambulance. A team of doctors was also sent with him.
According to the doctors, he has gone into coma due to head injury. It is said that Ajay Singh Sikarwar, aged around 57 years, living in Thatipur is an employee in transport department. On wednesday night, he was going to his home by Activa. Some unknown vehicle hit him near Madhav Nagar injuring him seriously.
On receipt of information a number of BJP leaders including district president Abhay Choudhary, Jagdish Sharma, Devesh Sharma, Devendra Singh Tomar, Vikrant Bhadauria, Rinku Parmar, Phool Singh Gurjar, Saurabh Singh Tomar, Ajay Arora etc reached the hospital.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who was in Bhopal at a party programme, soon after receipt of the information, made arrangements for shifting Sikarwar to Delhi and immediately left for Delhi by special plane.
Meanwhile, the police sources said that an FIR has been registered against an unidentified vehicle and a hunt for the vehicle has been launched.
