Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address all teachers and students of the country on Teacher’s Day. The Prime Minister’s address will be telecast live on September 5 from 3 to 3.45 pm. It will be aired by Doordarshan, Akashwani, Edusat, webcast and other media. About 1.85 crore students and 5.65 lakh teachers in Madhya Pradesh will hear the Prime Minister’s address.
Directives have been given to facilitate teachers, students and education officers to listen to the Prime Minister’s address through various mediums. Additional Chief Secretary School Education SR Mohanty directed all district collectors and CEOs of district Panchayats regarding this through a video-conference on Saturday. Assistant Commissioners, Tribal Welfare Officers, Education Officers and District Project Coordinators also participated in the video-conferencing.
Children of girls hostels, Kastruba Gandhi Girls Schools and hostels for SC, ST and Backward Class students will also listen to the Prime Minister’s address.live telecast of Prime Minister’s address will also be made in private schools of the state. For this, the private schools will make their own arrangements.
The Rajya Shiksha Kendra has directed all district collectors and CEOs of district Panchayats to fix school’s timings in the afternoon on September 5.
The Rajya Shiksha Kendra has issued necessary directives so that all teachers and students can listen to the Prime Minister’s address easily. Telecast will be screened through lCD projectors in auditoriums of Schools for Excellence and private schools. In these institutions, teachers of district and division-level higher secondary/high/middle schools and students from class VI to XII will be present.
Responsibilities for smooth arrangements for the screening of the live telecast have been entrusted to District Education Officers, District Project Officers, Block Education Officers and BRCCs.
