A 12-year old schoolgirl was gang-raped by two youths near Kurpania area under Gandhi Nagar police station area in Bokaro district on Thursday night, police said.
In this connection, police have lodged an FIR against the two accused under section 376 of IPC and also arrested both the accused, identified as Vikram Prasad and Raju Madrasi from their relative’s house at Jarandih.
Sources said, the incident took place when the victim Geeta Kumari (name changed) a resident of Kurpania, was on her way to house. As she reached near her house about midway, two youths Vikram Prasad and Raju Madrasi sitting nearby obstructed her.
Threatening her, the culprits forcibly dragged the girl to a nearby place and raped her. As the information given by victim to local police, she said that both the Vikram and Raju kept her in a mud house at different locations for two days and raped her.The youths left me in a critical condition at Kathara area on Friday evening.
The statement of the girl as quoted by Gandhi Nagar police station officials in Bermo has shocked one and all. The girl who has been admitted at CCl regional hospital where her condition is said to be critical.
