The Rotary Club (East), Brahmapur organised a three-day function at the City High School playground here to mark the Rotary Day on Friday.
Brahmapur SP Sathak Sadangi inaugurated the event and hailed the efforts of the Rotarians and their role in serving the society. Prior to the celebration, all the Rotarians took out a procession on the main roads of the city. Rotary International former President Kalyan Banerjee and former Director Sekhar Meheta joined the event as guests of honor. Besides, a blood donation camp was organized on the occasion.
Several traditional cultural shows of Ganjam district were showcased during the celebrations that attracted good number visitors. Among others, Brahmapur DIG (SD) Amithav Thakur and Rotarians Anita Pati, I Rajeswari Rao, Pitambara Patra, Sanat Kumar Patra, organising Chairman Jabahar Pala, Advisor P Satyanarayana were present.
