The Rotary Club on Sunday organised ‘Charter Presentation and Installation Ceremony’ to mark the formation of its ‘Women’s Wing of Rotary Club of Raipur Fame.
On the occasion, Sharda Singh was appointed as Charter President and Abha Mishra had been chosen as Charter Secretary.Speaker of Chhattisgarh State Assembly, Gaurishankar Agrawal was the chief guest while Rotary District Governor – Dist. 3261 (2013 - 14) was the guest of honour on the occasion.“Our motto is service above self. We have set a goal to provide counselling to 20,000 children for making a bright career” said Singh.
So far, as many as 55 women have joined the club, informed Mishra.Rotary Club has over 12 lakh members registered with it over 36000 wings globally.On the occasion, Agrawal congratulated the Women’s Wing office-bearers and members and urged them to take various initiatives to bring positive changes in the society.
