The education department has initiated the recruitment process of the Cluster Resource Persons (CRP) and Block Resource Persons (BRP). The CRP and BRP are the basic positions of the education department who are assigned the tasks of training and monitoring the activities of the teachers.
The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) invited applications for the posts of 285 BRP and 984 CRP from the serving teachers of the state government on Saturday. The department is conducting this recruitment for these posts after a gap of nearly ten years. The serving BRC and CRC were protesting the open recruitment as they would be sent back to their original cadres after the new appointments. The Vice President of Rajkeeya Shikshak Sangh, Mukesh Bahuguna welcomed the state government’s decision to go for direct recruitment for CRC and BRC. He said that higher ranked officers of education department use to appoint their favorites to these positions on deputation in absence of a proper recruitment process.
The serving Head Masters of Primary schools, Assistant teachers of middle schools and lecturer Teachers (lT) with a service of five years are eligible for being appointed as BRP and CRP. The SCERT has kept July 26 as the last date of getting the application forms for these posts.
