Over a dozen organizations including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and tribal groups alongwith political parties have called Ranchi bandh on Thursday against Administration's lackluster attitude towards the gory attack that took place in Chanho on Tuesday.
Although police have said that they would try to keep the situation under control, a large number of educational institutions (including schools), business establishments and others will remain closed on Thursday. The VHP has alleged that the incumbent Government was encouraging a group that is giving shelter to terrorists and land-mafia.
