Chief Minister Raman Singh will visit South Bastar (Dantewada) district on Friday to inaugurate several developmental projects in the region.
The Chief Minister will also lay foundation stone of several new projects during his visit, his office said in a statement here. The Chief Minister will attend the ground breaking ceremony of as many 17 separate developmental project worth Rs 28.99 crore. He will also inaugurate 22 different works carried out at a total investment of Rs 12.9 crore.
The projects which would be inaugurated include a residential school at Chitalika built at a cost of Rs 1.51 crore, teachers housing colony built at a cost of Rs 1.2 crore. Besides, Singh will inaugurate a hostel at Jabang built at an investment of Rs 1 crore, a girls hostel built at Kuakonda at a cost of Rs 1.7 crore.
He is also scheduled to inaugurate several new roads, buildings, service centres, residential houses, hostels, and solar water heating system among many others. The foundation stone he is scheduled to lay include wire fencing work on farmers crop field which would be carried out at an investment of fifteen crore rupees under Mochibadi scheme. He will also lay foundation stones for several new roads, buildings, hostels, colony and water pipeline expansion projects.
