The Chhattisgarh Government on Thursday assigned new postings to a dozen senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
As per the order released by the General Administration Department (GAD), Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Planning, Economic & Statistics, Commercial Tax (Barring Prohibition and Registration) and Director General of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, Raipur DS Mishra has been temporarily offered additional charge as Director of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, Raipur apart from his current duties until further orders, according to an official Press release issued here.
As a result, Mudit Kumar Singh, IFS, who is currently posted as Director of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, has been relieved from his current duties. Similarly, Ajay Singh, currently Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Co-operatives and Village Industries and Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) had been temporarily offered additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Department.
NK Aswal, currently Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Jail, Transport and Water Resources Department and Transport Commissioner has been relieved only from the duties of Water Resources Department while being temporarily offered additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department. MK Raut, Principal Secretary, Urban Administration and Development Department and Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department had been temporarily been made Principal Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department with the additional charge of labour Department.
R P Mandal, Principal Secretary, PWD and Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department had been only relieved from the charge of Sports and Youth Welfare Department and temporarily offered additional charge as Principal Secretary, Urban Administration and Development Department. Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary, Forest and legislative Work Department and Principal Secretary to the Governor had been temporarily offered additional charge as Secretary to the Governor with additional charge as Principal Secretary, Forest and legislative Work Department until further orders.
Subrat Sahu, Secretary, Woman and Child Development and Social Welfare Department apart from his current duties had been temporarily offered additional charge as Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department until further orders. Amit Agrawal, Secretary, Technical Education, Manpower Planning, Science and Technology Department, apart from his current duties had been temporarily offered additional charge as Secretary, Finance Department until further orders.
Vikas Sheel, Secretary, Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, apart from his current duties had been offered additional charge as Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) until further orders. Ganesh Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), apart from his current duties had been offered additional charge as Secretary, Water Resources Department until further orders.
K R Pisda, Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Relief Commissioner, Commissioner, Rehabilitation and Secretary, General Administration Department and Public Grievances Department had been relieved from the charge of only General Administration Department.
