In view of heavy rain, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to short-terminate four trains in the Kottavalasa-Koraput-Kirandul Railway and Koraput-Rayagada Railway sections.
Accordingly, the Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on Saturday would be short-terminated at Rayagada and return from there on Sunday evening. The Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express which left Howrah on Friday was short-terminated at Rayagada on Saturday and would resume as Samaleswari Express from there on Sunday.
Similarly, the Sambalpur-Koraput Passenger scheduled to leave Sambalpur on Satarday would run upto Rayagada only. The Rourkela-Koraput Inter City Express which left Rourkela on Saturday would run upto Rayagada and return from there on Sunday. Besides, the Visakhapat-nam-Koraput Express scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam on Saturday was cancelled, the ECoR release informed.
