In another administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government on Thursday transferred two IAS and two PCS officers. As per the State Government’s posting and transfer orders, issued on Thursday, Sarwan Singh Channy has been posted as the new Principal Secretary Home. Besides the Home Affairs and Justice Department, Channy has also given the charge of Principal Secretary, Cultural Affairs, Archives, Archaeology and Museums in addition to the NRI Affairs, and Transport.
Another IAS officer Viswajeet Khanna has been posted as Principal Secretary, labour and in addition to the Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wild life. Among the PCS officers, Anuprita Johal has been posted as Tapa Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and Shiv Kumar as Patran SDM.
