President Pranab Mukharjee would be the chief guest on first convocation of Central University of Haryana at Mahendergarh on March 1.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Maj Gen (Dr.) Ranjit Singh said that it is a glorious moment that the University is conducting its first Convocation in which the President would be participating. Others expected to be present include Governor of Haryana Jagannath Pahadia and Chief Minister Bupinder Singh Hooda. Ranjit Singh said that the President would inaugurate the University Campus and give away gold medals and degrees to the students. In addition to it, he would also inaugurate the Innovation Exhibition. He said that Governor Pahadia would release the inaugural issue of Journal, Innovation Club and Inspired Teacher’s Monograph of the University. Though the University was established in 2009 and was working at a temporary venue, it was shifted to its permanent campus in August, 2013.
