The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) celebrated the anniversary year of “Poona Pact Day” on September 25 last. PPT Chairman Sudhanshu Sekhara Mishra inaugurated it.
PPT secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra introduced the guests. Former MP Anchal Das and PPT SC & ST Employees Welfare Association president and former MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai also attended the function as guests.
Prof Basanta Kumar Mallick, Director of Centre for Dr Ambedkar Institute of Utkal University, was the chief speaker. Capt Gouri Prasad Biswal, Deputy Conservator of PPT, presided, while PPT SC and ST Employees Welfare Association secretary NC Das gave vote of thanks.
