On the occasion of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2, pledge to ‘Make India Clean’ will be taken in all the offices, schools-colleges and various organizations in Chhattisgarh.
Under nation-wide ‘Swachchh Bharat Abhiyaan’, these pledge-ceremonies will be held in all the 27 District Headquarters of the State around 9.30 am. The Chief Minister, Regional MPs, MlAs, and Jila Panchayat Presidents will grace these programmes as chief guests and administer the pledge. As per a circular issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) Chief Minister Raman Singh will be the chief guest of the pledge ceremony to be held in Raipur.
Home, PHE and Cooperatives Minister Ramsevak Paikra will be the chief guest of the ceremony in District Headquarters Ambikapur (Sarguja), Panchayat and Rural Development and Culture Minister Ajay Chandrakar in Dhamtari, Health and Urban Administration Department Amar Agrawal in Bilaspur, Agriculture and Water Resource Minister Brijmohan Agrawal in Raigarh, School Education and Tribal Caste Development Minister Kedar Kashyap in Dantewada, Revenue and Higher Education Minister Prem Prakash Pandey in Durg, Food, Civil Supply and Rural Industry Minister Punnulal Mohile in Mungeli, PWD, Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Moonat in Kawardha, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Ramsheela Sahu in Balod, lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bais in Balodabazar, and Member of Rajya Sabha Ranvijay Pratap Singh Judev will attend the pledge-ceremony Jashpur as Chief Guest in District Headquarters. likewise, MlA Mahesh Gagda will be the Chief Guest of the programme to be held in Bijapur, Member of lok Sabha Vikram Ussendi in Kanker, Member of Rajya Sabha Dr Bhooshan lal Jangade in Bemetara, Member of lok Sabha Kamla Devi Patel in Janjgir, Member of lok Sabha Chandulal Sahu in Mahasamund and Member of lok Sabha Abhishek Singh will be the Chief Guest of the programme to be organised in Rajnandgaon under Swachchh Bharat Abhiyaan.
As per the circular, Jila Panchayat President Pushpa Singh will administer pledge in the ceremony to be held in District Headquarters Baikunthpur (Koriya), Member of lok Sabha Dr Banshilal Mahato in Korba, Bastar Jila Panchayat President lachchuram Kashyap in Kondagaon, Surguja Jila Panchayat President Pushpa Netam in Balrampur, Jila Panchayat President Bisel Singh Nag in Narayanpur, Raipur Jila Panchayat President lakshmi Verma in Gariaband, Dantewada Jila Panchayat Jamuna Manjhi in Sukma, and lok Sabha MP Dinesh Kashyap will administer the pledge in the ceremony to be organised in Bastar (Jagdalpur).
