The college students of the city showcased wondrous performances at the inter college fest ‘Yuva Utsav 2014’ being organised at Sarojni Naidu Government Girls Post Graduation College, Bhopal.

 Under the inter college fest various cultural activities are being organised and the students from almost all the colleges of the city have participated enthusiastically. Notably, the fest is being organised with a motive to enhance the co-curricular skills of the students and to encourage their enthusiasm towards a healthy participation. Further, students from Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Regional Institute, Barkatullah University, Anand Vihar College, Career College, Maharani laxmi Bai Girls College (MlB), Satya Sai Girls College, Sant Hirdaram Girls College and other colleges participated actively in the fest.

 Here on Monday, a classical vocal and instrumental competition was organised. The competition was headed by the coordinator of the fest Ashwini Rangnekar and the cultural students committee of Sarojini Naidu Girls College. The students presented various spell binding performances. As the youngsters were presenting a great show, the audiences watched them with rapt attention and were enthralled with the dedication and purity the students performed the classical ragas.

 Further, the competition was divided into various categories of classical vocal and instrumental performances. The categories included classical vocal, instrumental, semi classical vocal, instrumental, classical solo in vocal and instrumental and semi classical duo in vocal and instrumental, further classical group in vocal and instrumental. Before the performances, Principal of Sarijini Naidu Girls College Shobhana Bajpayi Maru gave best wishes to the participants to give their best performance.

 The students under various categories bagged the prizes for the best performance. It was an enchanting experience for the performers as well as the audiences.
