A Fashion Design Department of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhubaneswar was inaugurated by Union Textiles Secretary Sanjay Kumar Panda on Saturday.
NIFT Director General Prem Kumar Gera, Odisha Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Commissioner-cum-Secretary Chitra Arumugam and NIFT Bhubaneswar Director Dr KCS Ray were also present on the occasion.
NIFT Bhubaneswar was established in 2010 with an undergraduate and a postgraduate course. It is presently running five undergraduate and one postgraduate course in fashion design, technology and fashion management.
