A legal awareness camp especially for rural women and SC/ST villagers was organised at village Amritnagar, jointly by NGO Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra and DAlSA. Secretary DAlSA Rashikesh Kumar and secretary NBJK Girija Satish inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. In his address, Sub-Judge Rashikesh Kumar informed that everyone having income less than Rs 1 lakh per annum can get free legal aid from DAlSA.
Women, SC/ST and other communities can get the facility of advocates without paying any fee as per new rules. He gave several examples of Hazaribagh itself in which the needy ones were benefitted by this new law.
Girija Satish in his address talked about human rights. He said that those who are in the society can be cared but those who are behind the bars are generally ignored. He argued about their human rights and said that they too could get these facilities in future, we will have to work for it.
Advocate Bhaiya Mukesh talked about panchayati raj and said that more and more people will be benefitted if there will be courts at panchayat levels. He gave important information about several new laws related with women.
Advocate M Hassan informed the villager about motor vehicle accident case. He said that we use to block the roads after an accident and death but it harms the innocent people only. Proper knowledge of act can be more beneficial for the family members of accident victims and for victims who losses any organ itself. Advocate Vijay Singh gave important information about SC/ST and laws related with women. He also talked about human rights. NBJK’s Vinay Kumar Bhatt gave vote of thanks.
