Naya Raipur will soon develop into a beautiful city: Bachchan

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan was impressed with the water conservation system and rehabilitation scheme implemented in Naya Raipur.

Before leaving for Mumbai, Bachchan visited Naya Raipur to have a look at the development and construction works underway in Naya Raipur.

During his visit to Chhattisgarh’s new administrative capital,  Bachchan said that such efforts are extremely important for development of the city.

Praising the township project, the mega star said that Naya Raipur would soon

develop into a beautiful city.

He also extended his best wishes for successful

implementation of the new capital project.

Deputy Chairman of Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) SS Bajaj informed Bachchan about the ongoing development projects in the township.

During the visit, Bachchan also visited Swagat Vatika, Purkhauti Muktangan, City Park, Mantralaya building, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium and Sanjeevani Heart Hospital on his way. Bachchan also made a brief visit of Sendh Water Reservoir in Sector 4 in the Township.

The mega star congratulated Chief Minister Raman Singh and NRDA officials for formulation and implementation of commendable rehabilitation scheme at Naya Raipur.

He said that Sanjeevani Hospital is the pride of Naya Raipur. On the occasion, NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar, General Manager Mahadev Kaanvre and other officials were also present.
