BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday made a host of promises, including conversion of kuchha houses into pucca ones and conversion of earthen roads into concrete ones, while addressing meetings at many places in Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts.
At a meeting at Karchamala of Nabarangpur, Patnaik said his party’s election manifesto promises development of all sections of the society, including farmers, youths and women. “All the kacha houses would be converted to pucca ones and all village roads would be made concrete if our party is voted to power again,” Patnaik said.
He urged the public to vote for BJD candidate from Nabarangpur lok Sabha constituency Balabhadra Majhi and MlA candidate Manohar Randhari.Among others, district BJD General Secretary Asis Ranjan Patnaik, Rabi Patnaik, Nabarangpur block Chairman, Beda Bhatra, Tentulukhunti block Chairperson Prabhati Kandha, Sabitri Majhi and Kosagumuda Chairperson Jogendra Swain were present.Similarly, addressing another meeting at Hatabharandi under Umarkote Assembly constituency, Patnaik called upon the voters to vote for the BJD candidates so that the developmental projects taken up by his Government for tribals and dailts can be expedited.
