As the Government has decided to transfer the lPG subsidy to the bank accounts of the consumers, Nainital district administration has urged all lPG consumers to submit photocopies of their bank passbooks with account numbers along with other relevant documents to their respective gas agencies by January 15 next.
Depositing bank pass books along with other relevant documents within the given period is vital to avail of the subsidy, said the officials concerned of the Nainital district administration, adding there is no need to submit Aadhaar cards. At the same time, it has also asked the all lPG agencies to ensure that the consumers comply with the requirements. Nainital district administration has also asked the lPG agencies to open additional counters for timely submission of the required items.
