Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam will have an interactive session with scientists of a research institute on Tuesday.
Kalam will hold discussions with the scientists of Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), a research institute working in the areas of biology and biotechnology of micro-organisms, an official of the institute said.
The institute is holding a day-long round table conference on Tuesday which will see presence of academicians, medical experts and scientists across the country, he said.
The conference will deliberate upon formalising strategy for drug resistance and ambro microbes (things like bacteria which are not visible by naked eyes), he said. Besides, Union Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Minister Jitendra Singh has also been invited for the event, he said.
The IMTECH, set up in 1984 here, is one of the constituent establishments of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
