The Director General of Police Ramniwas on has approved ‘Anugrah Anudan’ (compensation) of Rs 30 lakh for the family members of six martyrs of Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) who laid down their lives in Naxal violence. The family of martyrs will receive Rs 5 lakh each, police officials informed here on Thursday.
According to sources the compensation amount was approved on special initiative of DGP. The martyrs whose family members will receive compensation are: Purnashankar Tandi, Buthru Ram Kashyap, Budhram Maurya, Siyaram Ekka, lakhesh Kumar Boudh and Hemla Masa. The DGP said that these jawans had laid down their lives in Naxal infested areas while serving the nation and police department would be always stand with the dependents of martyrs.
