Collector Niranjan Das has directed officials to provide special attention to maintenance of cleanliness in the various healthcare facilities at par with what is maintained by the private clinics.
Das issued the directives during his inspection of the District Hospital, Sub-health Center and Mazarkatta Homeopathy Hospital as a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan’.
During inspection, the Collector also directed Civil Surgeon Dr R K Srimaali to conduct the necessary repair works in OPD, Consultancy room and various other sections of the District Hospital.Das also directed officials to ensure that there are no pan shops operating within 100 meters of the hospital premises. Das made it mandatory to give special attention for maintaining cleanliness at par to that of private clinics.
