In a major success, police arrested a hardcore insurgent who was suspected to be involved in the Maoist attack on the Congress convoy at Jeeram Ghati in Sukma district of Bastar on May 25 last year.Superintendent of Police, Jagdalpur, Ajay Yadav informed that the insurgent was arrested on a precise input about his location in a forested patch in the district during a police search.He further said the police team was on way to Jagdalpur, after which only the identity of the Naxal would be confirmed.
