The Secondary School Examination result would have brought a big sigh of relief for the officials of Jharkhand Academic Council for accomplishing the important task on time however the results made the Chairman of the Council issue a clarion call to the teachers to keep the trend upwards in future also.
Releasing the results for examinations conducted in 2014, JAC Chairman Anand Bhushan hit back at teachers for sloppy performance of students and asked them to reflect over their performance. “It is for them (teachers) to think how they are teaching,” replied Bhushan when asked about less than expected results.
Interestingly, in a result in which boys outshine girls unusual considering reverse trends in other board examination was also a discomforting aspect for educationists. However, the JAC Chairman vowed to continue with the good gesture of helping students who failed to pass the examination.”We are going to launch a helpline for those who could not clear the examination,” continued Bhushan.
Nonetheless, the Chairman ruled out introducing benign measures in line with those introduced for the students of Intermediate Science. “The results have been tad better compared to previous year,” concluded the JAC Chairman.
