Hundreds of investors duped chit fund led by Congress and BJP leaders staged a dharna before the residence of Advocate General Surya Prasad Mishra here on Saturday demanding his resignation.
They protested Mishra’s “wrong” advice to the Assembly Speaker not to hold any debate in the Assembly on the chit fund scam as the issue is sub-judice.
The AG violated the Bar Council’s code of conduct for giving his views when he himself had appeared in court in favour of granting bail to arrested Seashore CMD, the leaders said.
