INlD disses Shah's 'goonda raj' diatribe

Tuesday, 30 September 2014 | PNS | Chandigarh

INlD’s Hisar MP Dushyant Chatuala on Monday hit back at BJP national chief Amit Shah for his remarks made in Tohana that if INlD comes to power there would be complete “goonda raj” in Haryana.

Both Dushyant and Shah were in Tohana on Monday to address rallies.

Terming the statement by the BJP chief as a result of his frustration as the BJP lost first by-elections conducted in his tenure badly, Dushyant said that before making such baseless accusations, Shah must not forget that BJP was part of INlD Government in Haryana before getting isolated in last Assembly polls.

“Shah must reply to the public of Haryana, if INlD was spreading “goonda raj” while remaining in power in Haryana, why the BJP did not withdraw support during that time. They could have had at least raised the voice against INlD if it was so. But actually it was not. None of the BJP leaders spoke publicly during Chautala’s regime and now they are targeting INlD only because they are aware that INlD is set to form the next government in Haryana,”

said Dushyant.

By leveling such baseless charges against the former alliance partners, the BJP has proved that it was a party which cannot ally with anybody and can ditch them later. “The way BJP has ended its coalition with Shiv

Sena in Maharashtra was

another example that has exposed the real face of the BJP that it was not sincere for its allies who had stood by them when the saffron party needed them the most,” alleged Dushyant.
