With teams from national and international institutions participating, Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Raipur, will begin its three-day, fourth annual student fest ‘Equinox 4.0’ from Friday. The fest will be conducted in its campus at Sejbahar in the city.
“From music, fashion show to human resource management and business plans, a total of 19 competitions will be held at IIM campus spread over three days,” said IIM Prof Vinita Sahay (in pic) in a Press conference on Thursday. She said that the preliminary rounds of these events have been already conducted online and only the shortlisted finalists will compete during the fest.
Unlike last year, no Bollywood celebrity will be present for the fest this time. “We want the focus to remain on the students instead of a celebrity,” said an IIM student who accompanied Sahay during the press conference. When students from local and national colleges will take part in the fest, learning process will begin on a huge level, said Sahay adding that it will also break stereotypes of people from other states about Chhattisgarh.
