Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday dedicated nine projects of over Rs30 crore to the people at Gohana.
He inaugurated the newly built sub-divisional office complex in Gohana, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs5 crore and also inaugurated the newly built primary health centers of villages Sisana and Dhubheta of Sonipat distirct, which have been constructed at a cost of Rs4.14 crore.
Hooda laid foundation stone of 132 KV sub-station to be built at Bhanderi village. This will cost Rs13 crore and benefit about 30 villages. He also laid the foundation stone for the water works to be built for the villages — Hullaheri, Kasandi, Katwal, Banwasa and Giwana, which will cost over Rs8 crore.

meeting later on, Hooda said that the work of development is going on in the whole of State and a number of schemes have also been
started for Gohana .
Hooda said that welfare schemes have been started for different sections of society. The pension of elderly people has been increased from Rs200 to Rs1,000. About 20 lakh children of poor families are being given scholarships from class 1. The interest rate on crop loans has been decreased from 11 to 4 per cent. In the event of death of some farmer or labourer in field, a compensation of Rs5 lakh is given to their families. Hooda also announced Rs10 crore each for the development of Gohana and Baroda Assembly areas and Rs10 crore for Gohana town separately.
