Madhya Pradesh is experiencing extreme heat conditions in the day while the nights too have gone warm. The mercury has touched 45 degree C mark in Khargone and the night temperature in the state capital has climbed 2 degree above normal. According to the meteorological office, the warm winds from the Rajasthan side have caused the extreme heat conditions, besides the scorching sun.
Tuesday morning in the State capital began with clouds in the sky but they cleared up after about an hour and the sun turned unbearable. The conditions were such that by 10 am people started feeling it scorching. Director of the meteorological department DP Dube said that the heat conditions in the state increased due to the winds coming here from the north-western parts of the country.
