The Public Health and Family Welfare Department has activated emergency management cells in every district of the State. The cells are helping in the management of hospitals, treatment facility and monitoring of Government servants’ functioning. Chief medical and health officers, regional joint directors and civil surgeons have been included in the cells.
Apart from district level, division-level cells comprise 2 senior medical experts of concerning medical college. Besides, every family has also been accessed and informed about health projects. Extension of health service upto village level is being ensured.
Principal Secretary Health Praveer Krishna informed that district health officers have been entrusted work to ensure quality of health services. These officers are ensuring that only WHO/GMP-certified medicines are provided. District health officers have also been directed to take immediate action against negligent employees.
Over 20,000 operations are being performed every month flawlessly under Prerna Abhiyan. The state has 170 lTT experts. All operations are being performed in accordance with prescribed process. Now, doctors are being provided more incentive money. Reiterating directives to exercise caution issued earlier, Health Department has said that doctors should discharge their duties sensitively.
