Haryana Government constitutes sub-committee to implement agreements

Haryana Government constituted sub-committee under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala would meet within a week to implement the agreements made between employees of Transport Department and the State Government on January 21. Haryana Transport Minister Aftab Ahmed on Thursday said that the meeting of the sub-committee would be held within one week.

 Ahmed was presiding over the meeting with representatives of Haryana Roadways Employees’ Coordination Committee here. He said that the Government has agreed in principle to almost all the demands of the employees.The employees had demanded abolishment of contractual system and outsourcing of work.

Ahmed said that after the consensus all the drivers and conductors appointed after January 1, 2003 to till date will be given regular pay scale from their date of appointment and assuming January 1, 2014 as a fixed date, their salary will be fixed on the basis of the regular pay scale from the date of appointment, ACP and Annual Increment.It was decided in the meeting that the employees recruited on the posts, will continue to work on the same posts.
