The Galaxy Girls School celebrated its 5th annual day on Tuesday. Naushad Alam, Assistant Police Superintendent(ASP) was the chief guest on the occasion.
He along with Aswini Kumar Sinha, DD Jha principal of Digambar Jain Vidyalaya inaugurated the ceremony with lighting of traditional deep. Principal of the school Ashok Kumar Sinha delivered the welcome address. Speaking on the occasion, ASP Alam said, “Education is the key spell of development.” He stressed on women education and said that a full family educates with the education of a single woman. Education of girls is very important in today’s scenario. The guests Aswini Kumar Sinha and Dhruv Deo Jha also addressed the programme and appreciated the performance of the students especially the drama ‘Beti Bojh Nahin’ (Daughters are not burden).
The students Ekta, Priya, Rani, Sunita and Sakshi delivered a meaningful and inspiring message through the act and made an appeal, to the society pointing discrimination towards female child. They stressed that the girls should be given equal opportunities and the disparity must be abolished from the society. The students performed various programmes group song, solo song, group dance, solo dance , mono act in a very beautiful manner. The students— Madhu, Neha, Nisha, Sanjana, Saumya, Shaloo, Priya Singh presented a dandiya dance performance on the occasion.
The audience was overwhelmed by the performances of the students. The teachers— Ajay Kumar, Sandhya Sinha, Sunanda Suman, Vijay Kumar, Birendra Kumar and others played active role to make the celebration a success. Ajay Agrwal director of Chlorophyl School, Narayan Barnwal and Asim Sinha were present on the occasion.
