Various programmes have been organised at Anand Mohan Sabhagrih here for April 30 to mark the 85th birth anniversary of Shree Vishwashrao Deshmukh, father of noted spiritual leader Shree Bhaiyyuji Maharaj.
Briefing about the event, Sharad R Pawar, chairman, Shree Sadguru Datt Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust, informed that PP Kishoregiriji Maharaj will light the traditional lamp at 4 pm at Anand Mohan Mathur Sabha Grih to mark the beginning of the birth day celebrations of Shree Vishwash Rao Deshmukh on April 30. This will be followed by the release of two books, namely, Pita Ek Sangarsh and Our Father by Kishoregiri Maharaj.
On the occasion, an `Ideal Father Award' would be presented to Kailash Rupalekar who notwithstanding numerous adverse circumstances groomed his two sons who are now better placed in their lives.
The function will be presided over by Minister, Public Enterprises, Government of Maharashtra, Jaidutt Kshirsagar, while Prakash Maharaj Bodhle (Beed) and Saiyyad Irfan Moil Usmani of the Ajmer Sharif would be special guests.
The book release ceremony would be followed by kirtan to be presented by Dhananjay Joshi Maharaj between 6-6.30 pm. From 6.30 pm onward, a musical nite of eminent playback singer Shaan would be organized at Anand Mohan Mathur Sabha Grih wherein he will regale the audience through his mellifluous voice.
Pawar informed that the Suryoday Pariwar to mark the occasion would also distribute 50 hearing aides to hearing impaired people and 100 water tanks of 2000 litres capacity to water shortage affected people of Shujalpur district in Madhya Pradesh to help them store potable water in the summer season.
