A property dispute turned violent after a Gwalior High Court lawyer was attacked with spades and shovels by former Minister Akhand Pratap Singh and his aide at the Press Complex in MP Nagar area on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning at around 10 am Nitesh Sharma was attacked at plot number 28 where the labourers were working but later both the parties have lodged compliant and case was registered against them. Earlier in the year 2006 Nitesh Sharma bought a piece of land in MP Nagar in auction and was provided the possession in the year 2014.
Nitesh has lodged a complaint with the DGP, SP, CSP and MP Nagar police station alleging that Akhand Pratap Singh was trying to usurp the land. Sharma has alleged that Singh had lodged a fake complaint as at the time of the incident Vikas Sharma and Ambika Sharma were not present in the city and were in Gwalior at the time of the incident.
Singh has named Vikas Sharma and Ambika Sharma in the complaint based on the written complaints made earlier and when they came to know that they were named in the FIR they appeared before the CJM in Gwalior and informed regarding the fake complaint lodged by Singh. In the attack Sharma’s vehicle was damaged. Sharma said that he had purchased a 4608 sqft plot in the year 2006 during in auction which was situated next to Singh’s plot and he wanted to usurp the plot. The possession was provided in the year 2014 but problem was created during construction. The attack was in the consequence of the ill intentions of Singh.
The police have registered a case under section 341, 323, 427 and 34 of the IPC against Nitesh, Vikas and Ambika Prasad. A counter case was also registered on a complaint by Nitesh under section 448, 323, 294, 506 and 34 of the IPC against Akhand Pratap Singh and two others.
