An induction programme was organised by the Ethics Club of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) to include five more BSP schools in its noble mission of imbibing ethical values in young children.
The programme was held at Nehru House of Culture, Sector-1 in Bhilai. The function was graced by RK Nehru, ED (material management) as the chief guest. R Sundereshan GM (vigilance & ACVO) and SK Jain GM (town administration) were among the distinguished guests. The induction ceremony started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by hoisting of the Ethics Flag and rendering of the Ethics song.
Prachi Pandey and Neha Dubey, Young Champions of Ethics from EMMS-I and EMMS-9 respectively shared their experiences of last one year in Ethics Club. The ceremonial distribution of Ethics Flag and Scarf to the newly inducted schools was followed by Oath taking ceremony by YCEs. In his welcome address, DP Satapathy DGM (Edn) highlighted the activities of Ethics Club during last year in collaboration with the Vigilance Department of Bhilai Steel Plant. Satapathy highlighted the programmes under the Prerna Series in which talks on Ethicals Values are organized for the YCEs from time to time.
The chief guest of the function, RK Nehru, ED(material management) in his address congratulated the YCEs especially Prachi Pandey & Neha Dubey for being aware of the fact that they could realize the need to join the Ethics Club and could come out with the changes in their personalities after joining the club. He stressed on the need to sustain the progress of Ethics Club and wished that the Club will go on fulfilling its promises towards the society in the years to come with more zeal, more enthusiasm and more conviction.
