First convocation ceremony of Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu University will be held on Friday in the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Anjora, Durg.
Governor and Chancellor of the University Balramji Dass Tandon will be the Chairman and Chief Minister Raman Singh will be the Chief Guest at the ceremony.
This was informed by Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu University Vice-Chancellor Professor U.K. Mishra at a press conference at Raipur Press Club here. State Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Women and Child Development Minister Ramshila Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner Ajay Singh will be the guest of honour.
Dr KMl Pathak, Deputy Director General (Animal Science) Indian Council of Agricultural Research will deliver the convocation address. PhD, graduate and postgraduate degrees will be presented to the students who have qualified in veterinary sciences, dairy technology and fisheries faculties.
Gold medals will be presented to six students , Krishna Kumar Verma, Ravi Shukla, Rashmi Gupta, Abhinav Tirkey and Sanjay Singh Rathore, Neha Dewangan.
