As many as 69 Haj pilgrims from different districts of the State participated in the final training camp being organised by Chhattisgarh State Haj Committee at New Circuit House here on Sunday.
Chairman of the CG Haj Committee Dr Saleem Raj congratulated the Haj pilgrims and said that Haj training is mandatory for all pilgrims as per the directions of Foreign Ministry, Government of India.
Training programmes were organised in different districts by Haj Committee. The pilgrims were made aware of the facilities and services offered by Indian Haj Mission, rules and procedures of Saudi Arab, maps, medical facilities, transportation facilities and others information through a multimedia presentation. The officers present there also answered to the queries of the pilgrims during the training programme.
Raj appealed the Haj pilgrims to pray for prosperity, development and peace of the State and greeted them for Ramzan month.Secretary of Haj Committee Sajid Memon informed the pilgrims about ‘Haj Apps Service’ launched by Haj Committee.He explained in detail about use of App which will prove helpful for the pilgrims. The participants appreciated the efforts of Chhattisgarh Haj Committee for to facilitate them.
Among the Haj pilgrims who participated in the training, 38 were male and 32 females. These included 54 pilgrims from Raipur district, five from Mahasamund, two from Durg, three from Raigarh, two from Koriya and three from Kanker district.The trainers included Maulana Jalauddin Rizvi, Maulana Riafat Ali, Maulana Muzaffar Hussain and Haji Abdul Razzak.
