The great festival of faith and devotion concluded with lot of joy in the district. The devotees offered arghya to the setting and rising sun. They seemed eager to take the last sight of setting and first sight of rising sun.
The whole city resounded with the pious song of the festival. The local people made available all the basic amenities for the devotees.
On the occasion the devotees were seen offering arghya at the ghats of Thakurain pond, Bauli pond, Baxo, Koel and Serenghatu Sithio Koel. The municipal corporation had cleaned the ghats. The district administration was ready to face any untoward incident. Many social and self help organizations distributed fruits and milk at different ghats of the city. The people cleaned the areas nearby their homes for traveling devotees. The festival passed with a lot of joy.
