Higher Education Minister Indira Haridayesh has expressed serious disappointment over slow pace of construction works of the building being constructed for the Directorate of Higher Education at Haldwani’s Golapaar area.
Keeping in view the slow pace of construction works, Haridayesh has directed the officials concerned of the Directorate to expedite the construction after visiting the construction site. Notably, the building for the Directorate of the Higher Education has to be completed by March, 2015, said officials. The building is being constructed at a cost of Rs5 crore. Out of the sanctioned amount i.e. Rs5 crore, an amount of Rs3 crore has already been released, the Minister said. Presently, the directorate is functioning from the Mahila Degree College premises, Haldwani.
