DVC chairman Andrew WK langstieh on Tuesday met Chief Minister Raghubar Das. The meeting saw issue of pending dues of the State to the power company on which the CM assured it for early disposal of the matter.
The CM told the DVC to ensure continuous power supply to its command area and not only confine to industrial supply but to common users as well. CMD of Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam limited SN Verma along with Power Secretary SKG Rahate, Finance Secretary Rajbala Verma, Planning Secretary Arun Kumar Singh and other officials were also present in the meeting. The CM took update about generation and distribution of scenario in the State and instructed for prompt collection of pending electricity bills with the consumers and stop power theft. To improve the situation he directed the officials to collect revenue on time and also provide quality power to the public.
