UNNAYAN— the annual day of DPS Bokaro was celebrated with vibrant activities. The celebration was graced by the benign presence of Justice Virender Singh, Chief Justice (CJ) Jharkhand High Court-cum-Patron-in-Chief, JHAlSA as the Chief Guest and Justice DN Patel Judge, Jharkhand High Court-cum-executive Chairman, JHAlSA as the Guest of Honour and Justice RR Prasad, Judge Jharkhand High Court was there as special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Justice emphasised that the school gave vibes of creative consciousness and gave insight on student teacher relationship. He projected the importance of retaining one’s moral values and inner identity during his address.Singh released a book on legal Awareness named “Hamara Kanoon Hamara Karthavya” on this occasion. He also inaugurated the ‘legal literacy Club’ and interacted with the students on different aspects of legal Awareness and Fundamental Duties.
Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal DPS, Bokaro portrayed the value of excellence and global citizenship. She also quoted on the importance of a happy childhood; according to her the key to succeed with integrity is to work with faith and commitment.38 students were awarded cash prize, merit certificates and mementoes for Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition. 706 scholar badges were awarded. Eight students received 100 per cent attendance award for their outstanding regularity records and 52 prizes for special skills were bestowed on students.
