The DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur here has bagged the top position in the recently-held All India Resostart Scholarship Test at Kota in Rajasthan.
The school bagged the best school trophy where as its principal Dr KC Satpathy received the best principal award along with cash prizes and mementoes.
Over four lakh students of around 1100 schools in the country had participated in the test.
Ayusman Tripathy of Class-VII got a gold medal and selected to visit NASA on a two-day educative tour for securing first position in the country, where as Sourav Sahoo of Class-IX and Abhisek Sahoo of Class-X have been selected for bronze medal and a six-day Singapore trip for achieving third positions.
Besides, in Commerce Stream Open Test, nine students of the school have been placed in the Best-10 category in the State.
Several meritorious students also received laptops, sports watches and digital cameras along with cash awards for their performances.
