The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) is all set to hold the Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) and Pre-Pharmacy (CG PPHT) test on May 1 in which about 45,000 aspirants are expected to participate.
According to CPEB officials, the examinations would be held in all the 27 district headquarters in two phases across 116 examination centres. The PET would be held in the first half from 9 am to 12.15 pm and the PPHT would be held from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
According to information available, the highest number of examination centres totalling 13 have been set up in Raipur where 6,392 candidates are expected to appear in the test among them 1,594 are for PPHT.
Sukma district headquarters in Bastar has only one Examination Centre with 45 aspirants. Among the nearly 45,000 aspirants 34,180 are for PET and 10,530 for PPHT. According to the officials, the preparations for the examination has been complete and special teams have been constituted to catch those indulging in malpractices.
