Friday, 31 January 2014 | PNS | Chandigarh

Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said that some communal forces in the country are trying to take the country on a wrong path which is an alarming situation.

“In such a situation, we need to follow the ideals of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who united the people of the country so as to get the country free from shackles of slavery”, said Hooda, after paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Gandhi’s death anniversary. He said that the country is paying tribute to the  Father of the Nation at every district and  block level. Hooda said that Gandhi had shown the world the path of non-violence, Satyagraha, truth and fasting which is stronger than any weapon.  He said that Mahatma Gandhi adopted non-violence not as weakness, but as strength.
