Insisting heavily on use of various technology platforms for faster and easier communication, Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday held a live interaction with the general public through his e-Jandarshan programme here.
Incidentally, Chief Minister Raman Singh inaugurated the e-Jandarshan programme from his official residence in Raipur and became the first Chief Minister of any State to do so, officials claimed. On the occasion, Singh redressed grievances and heard demands of people from different parts of the State.
The Chief Minister, on other occasions have been meeting thousands of people at his residence who come with various demands and grievances for the past one decade every Thursday in Raipur.
On Thursday , Singh interacted with the people through e-Jandarshan and heard the demands and grievances of 50 applicants from eight districts. The 50 applicants from Bilaspur, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Surguja, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, Kondagaon and Durg interacted with the Chief Minister through Google Hangout.
Singh interacted with the people through the e-Jandarshan programme from his Raipur-based official residence and applicants which was connected from NIC rooms of respective districts for online interaction with the Chief Minister.
It is noteworthy that a number of people had registered their names at CMO website (cmo.cg.gov.in) for participating in this programme. Fifty of these applicants were selected for the opportunity of direct online interaction with the Chief Minister in the e-Jandarshan programme.
