A massive rally was taken out here under the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ by NCC cadets as well as students of National Service Scheme (NSS) and Anganbadi workers here on Monday.
The rally commenced from NCC ground and terminated at the City Chowk where a massive human chain was formed by the participants to generate awareness about the cleanliness campaign to the people.
Addressing the rally, Bastar MP Dinesh Kashyap said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the mission with the objective of keeping India clean and it is our responsibility to extend his campaign by working at the grass-roots level, he said.
He appealed to the people to provide their maximum support and make the campaign successful.
