Chouhan stands by storm-hit farmers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Re 1 per kg wheat and rice will be provided for eight months to farmers who have suffered over 50 per cent crops loss by including their names in the list of beneficiaries. Chouhan said that maximum assistance will be provided by the State Government to the affected farmers.

Chouhan visited hailstorm-affected villages in Sehore district's tehsils Rehti, Nasrullahganj and Ashta including Chakaldi, Kothar Pipaliya, Kankariya, Harmau, Suned, ladkui, Bhadakui, Gularpura and Kanyakhedi on Thursday.
